On the
24th November 5 students arrived at Kanwall at 5.00 am and began a
morning they won't forget in a hurry.
Jordon Crichton and
Nathan Bartlett were going for their Black Belts (Shodan Ho), John Wilks
and Steve Clare their 1st Dan (Shodan) and Steve Bartlett his 3rd Dan
(San Dan).
After six hours of physical and mental training and very tired all were
extremely pleased with what each individual had accomplished.

8th December 2002 these students also passed their next grading.

Kim Forster, Tanya Bartlett, Michael Forster, Kirstee
Garland, Rebecca Smith and Cameron Smith.

On the
30th November 2002 six tournament Team members competed in Melbourne in
the NAS Nationals. After competing through the
year these kids all made the top 8 in NSW and with that earnt the right
to represent their State and Club.
The students are:-
Nathan Sawyer
Michael Forster
Kirstee Garland
Jordan Crichton
Blake Grandpierre (didn't go to Melb)
Jamie Moxom
Four of them ended up in the top ten in very large divisions (45 in
some).
Kirstee Garland was asked to enter the NSW female team point sparring
event and the girls won the National Title. (cont)
