< You are not training hard to impress anyone but yourself.  Remember a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.  Persistence is the key, never give up.

Those of you who are grading will be notified by your respective  Sensei in the coming weeks.

TIPS TO REMBER FOR GRADING DAY

  1. Make sure to eat complex carbs at least 2 hours before class. Any sooner and you may become ill, no food and you won't be able to complete the exam.
  2. Turn up early to warm up and stretch and get focused.
  3. Look forward to the challenge with excitement.  This is a learning experience that you can only benefit from.
  4. Make sure to bring along all  your  safety equipment and of course your knowledge.

Grading    June

Grading will be held on Sunday 22nd June at Killarney Vale Public School, Hendricks Road Killarney Vale.

Junior grading will start at 9.00 am sharp and finish by 12.00 noon.  Seniors grading will start at 12.00 noon and should be finished by 5.00 pm.

As most of you are aware, grading is a test of your skill as a Martial Artist.  It is not about who is the best fighter, the biggest or strongest.  It is about your self defense skills and your willingness to grow and learn, and be a valued member of the community.

When training don't be concerned with what others are achieving,  you are doing this for you.
